And sassafrass, I'm glad you weren't on the jury, personal feelings, gut feelings, etc, have no place on a jury where the legal definition of guilt trumps the emotional definition of guilt.

Looking at it from a pure legal standpoint, the charge against her was for aggravated child abuse and while neglect is surely a bad thing, she wasn't charged with neglect. There was never any evidence...

Coopdog-you obviously didn't follow thiscase or watch the trial and see all the evidence. Even the jury thinks she is GUILTY - they just couldn't convict her on the evidence presented.
